Ski Dubai

"Ski Dubai - Mall of the Emirates" is a ski resort located in the United Arab Emirates, with 1.5 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding, and three lifts carrying guests. The winter sports areas are located at heights of between 15 and 100 metres. Ski Dubai is the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East and one of the largest ski resorts in the world, with 22,500 square metres of snow cover. 85 metres of indoor ski slopes are located on Sheikh Zayed Road, not far from Jumeirah Beach and part of the Mall of the Emirates. The resort is part of the Mall of the Emirates. Up to 25 tonnes of snow can accumulate overnight. Ski Dubai has a snow park, ski school and five slopes for all levels of skiing and snowboarding, with the longest slope being 400 metres long. Amongst the many activities and attractions, Ski Dubai's Snow Penguin Programme has already won international awards for penguin conservation and breeding. The five-star Kempinski Mall of the Emirates Hotel is located directly in front of the Dubai Ski Station and of course offers ski chalets overlooking the slopes.
